These Terms of Use govern access to and use of jafita.com (the “Website”). The Website is provided by Beijing Jieteda Elevator Co., Ltd., operating internationally under the JAFITA brand (“JAFITA,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.

These Terms apply to website use. A quotation, contract, purchase order, confidentiality agreement, warranty or other signed business record may contain different or additional terms for a transaction. Where there is a conflict, the applicable transaction document governs that transaction.

1. About the Website

The Website provides corporate, product, capability, project, service, partnership, news, resource and contact information. Content is intended to help visitors understand JAFITA and begin an informed discussion. It is not a complete technical specification, professional design, regulatory approval or binding commercial offer.

JAFITA is the international-facing brand associated with Beijing Jieteda Elevator Co., Ltd. Formal business documents identify the legal party to the relevant transaction. Do not infer a contracting entity, manufacturer or product origin from a logo or brand name alone.

2. Permitted Use

You may access and use the Website for lawful personal or business evaluation, including reviewing JAFITA information and submitting a genuine enquiry.

3. Product and Technical Information

Elevator, escalator, moving-walk and component information on the Website is general. Availability, dimensions, loads, speeds, finishes, components, certificates and documents can depend on the manufacturer, model, configuration, destination and project.

Images may show optional features, demonstration displays, previous configurations or illustrative environments. Colours and finishes can differ by screen, lighting, material batch and production method. A showroom display is not the final product specification.

Before ordering or relying on technical information, obtain the relevant written quotation, specification, drawings, certificates and confirmation records. Do not assume that a product shown on the Website is suitable for a building or accepted by a local authority.

4. Certificates, Patents, Brands and Project References

A certificate applies according to its holder, standard, scope, model, date and conditions. For example, Jieteda’s current English ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certificates cover defined qualified elevator installation and maintenance activities; they are not blanket product certificates for every item shown on the Website.

Historical cooperation or reference to another brand does not establish current authorization, agency, endorsement or product origin. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners.

Project names and images describe JAFITA’s records only to the stated scope. A project reference does not mean JAFITA supplied every unit, performed every service or owns the project imagery. Where scope details are limited, visitors should request clarification before relying on the reference.

5. Quotations and Enquiries

Submitting a form, email or message is an invitation to review, not an acceptance of an order. Website content, preliminary selections and budget indications are non-binding unless incorporated into a valid written offer or agreement.

A quotation may depend on assumptions about building conditions, destination, quantity, technical requirements, documents, logistics and responsibilities. You are responsible for reviewing the complete scope, exclusions, validity, delivery basis and confirmation requirements.

Prices, schedules and availability can change before formal acceptance. An order exists only through the agreed process and documents. No distributor status, territory, exclusivity, OEM authorization or partnership is created by an enquiry or meeting.

6. Building, Installation and Local Requirements

Elevator equipment interfaces with the building and must be installed, inspected and maintained by competent parties under applicable requirements. Unless a transaction document states otherwise, the customer and its local professionals are responsible for confirming:

  • building and shaft dimensions, structure and access;
  • applicable codes, standards, permits and approvals;
  • power supply and site conditions;
  • unloading, storage, lifting and protection;
  • licensed installation, testing and statutory inspection;
  • local maintenance, rescue and emergency arrangements.

Website information and remote communication do not replace a site survey, structural assessment, professional design, licensed work or authority approval. In an entrapment, abnormal operation or immediate hazard, follow local emergency procedures and contact the responsible authorized maintenance organization.

7. User Submissions

You may submit enquiries, drawings, photographs, specifications and other material where the Website provides a route. You confirm that you have the right and authority to submit the material and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You grant JAFITA a limited right to use, reproduce and share the submitted material as reasonably necessary to evaluate, respond to and perform the requested business activity, including sharing with relevant manufacturers, suppliers, service providers and advisers. This permission does not transfer ownership and does not authorize public marketing use unless separately agreed.

Do not submit unlawful material, malware, third-party confidential information without authority or unnecessary sensitive personal data. Submission through the Website does not create a confidentiality agreement. If special confidentiality is required, arrange an appropriate written agreement before sending the protected package.

8. Intellectual Property

10. External Links

The Website may link to other websites, maps, messaging services or platforms. A link is provided for convenience or relevant information and does not make JAFITA responsible for external content, availability, privacy, security or transactions. Use external services under their own terms.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law. Rights and remedies for a purchased product or service are governed by the relevant transaction documents and mandatory law.

These Website Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Beijing Jieteda Elevator Co., Ltd. in the People’s Republic of China, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or privacy rights that apply in your jurisdiction.
