JAFITA / Corporate responsibility

Corporate Responsibility

Responsibility Is the Accuracy of Everyday Work

For an elevator company, responsibility begins long before a public report. It appears in how a requirement is interpreted, how a change is recorded, how a certificate is described, how a package is identified and how quickly a safety concern is directed to the competent local organization.

JAFITA is the international-facing brand of Beijing Jieteda Elevator Co., Ltd. The company was established in 2001 and its business combines historical freight-elevator manufacturing and OEM experience with specialist equipment and component coordination. Because several organizations may contribute to one project, our responsibility framework centres on clear scope, evidence and interfaces.

This page describes practices and priorities supported by current company records. It does not invent carbon targets, injury statistics, charitable totals or global service coverage that the available evidence cannot substantiate.

Application, building and role

Product and Project Responsibility

An elevator must fit its application and building. Responsible work starts by asking what the equipment will move, how it will operate and what conditions are fixed. The result should be a technical basis that distinguishes confirmed information, preliminary assumptions and open points.

Responsibility also requires defined roles. Equipment supply does not automatically include building works, installation, statutory approval, commissioning, maintenance or emergency service. JAFITA aims to identify its scope and the work expected from owners, consultants, contractors, local elevator companies and approval bodies. Where local law requires licensed or authorized work, that work must remain with the competent party.

Quality Management with Visible Boundaries

Current English records support two specific management-system statements about Beijing Jieteda Elevator Co., Ltd.:

  • Certificate 44825MS009701R0 states conformity with GB/T 19001-2016 / ISO 9001:2015 for installation and maintenance of special equipment (elevators) within the company’s qualification scope.
  • Certificate 44825MS009703R0 states conformity with GB/T 45001-2020 / ISO 45001:2018 for those qualified elevator installation and maintenance activities and the related occupational health and safety management of the premises where they occur.
  • Both were issued on 17 February 2025, show expiry on 16 February 2028 and state that continuing validity depends on regular supervision and successful audit.

These certificates do not prove that every product in JAFITA’s portfolio is manufactured or product-certified by the same entity. We treat certificate holder, scope, model and validity as part of the claim, not as fine print.

Occupational Health and Safety

Elevator work can involve lifting, work at height, electrical systems, moving machinery and constrained spaces. The ISO 45001 scope in Jieteda’s certificate provides a documented management-system basis for the company’s qualified installation and maintenance activities. Practical responsibility still depends on project-specific controls, competent people and compliance with local requirements.

For cross-border supply, JAFITA does not assume that remote technical guidance transfers control of a worksite. The local employer, contractor, supervisor and maintenance organization retain their legal and operational duties. If equipment is operating abnormally or there is an entrapment or immediate hazard, the site must follow local emergency procedures and contact the responsible authorized service organization.

State what the record supports

Honest Product, Partner and Project Communication

Company history includes OEM and factory relationships described in internal and published company material. Responsible communication separates historical experience from current authorization. A past project with a brand does not mean every current offer is produced or endorsed by that brand. A logo should not be used to imply a relationship beyond the evidence and permitted use.

The same applies to landmark projects. Company archives contain references associated with transport, cultural, educational, hospitality and international sites. A public case record should state what JAFITA actually supplied or coordinated, not rely on the reputation of the building. Project names and images also require an appropriate basis for public use.

Identity, source and compatibility

Responsible Supply Relationships

Parts identification · Company archive

JAFITA’s broad portfolio depends on different manufacturing and component sources. Responsible supply coordination asks more than whether an item is available. The proposed source, product identity, configuration, evidence, change route and after-sales information all matter.

Where a partner supplies the equipment, the relevant product records should belong to that source and model. Where JAFITA coordinates several categories, each category may require its own evidence. Replacement components must be checked for identity and compatibility; visual similarity is not sufficient.

Information, Privacy and Cyber Awareness

Project enquiries may contain names, business contacts, drawings, building information, photographs and equipment records. We ask customers to share information relevant to the enquiry and avoid sending unnecessary personal or highly sensitive data. Website and business-contact information should be accessed only by people who need it for the stated purpose and retained in line with legal and operational requirements.

Customers should confirm unusual payment or banking instructions through an established contact channel. JAFITA will never rely on website content alone to change a transaction’s legal party, bank account or agreed commercial record. Suspected impersonation should be reported using the contact details published on this website.

Environmental Practicality

Packaged material and warehouse handling · Illustrative context

Elevator projects affect materials, energy, packaging, transport and long-term service. The current source archive does not provide a verified company-wide emissions inventory or reduction target, so we do not publish one here. Our present practical priorities are to reduce avoidable error and waste through better specification, controlled changes, appropriate packing and maintainable product records.

A mismatched component, damaged finish or incorrect shaft interface wastes material and time. Accurate dimensions, consolidated confirmation, recoverable part identity and appropriate shipment planning are therefore environmental as well as commercial disciplines. More formal metrics should be published only when their boundary, method and reporting period are defined.

Historical records, current meaning

Community and Industry Participation

Industry participation · Company exhibition archive

The company archive contains historical industry honours and community-related material. Some records belong to individual people, some have fixed validity periods and some describe past association roles. We do not convert them into current company claims without verifying the holder, date and status.

Corporate responsibility requires the same evidence standard for positive stories as for technical claims. When JAFITA publishes a current community or industry initiative, the page should identify who acted, when, what was contributed and how the record can be understood.

Intellectual Property and Proper Attribution

Company records document utility-model patents relating to dumbwaiter car, car-door and door-lock designs. Because the current legal status of each right has not been independently confirmed for this page, we describe them as patents the company has received rather than claiming that every right remains active today.

JAFITA also respects the intellectual property of customers, partners and third parties. Drawings and branded material shared for an enquiry should be used for the agreed review and handled according to applicable obligations. Third-party logos, project photographs and certificates should not be republished in a way that changes their meaning or ownership.

A clear route to raise an issue

How Concerns Can Be Raised

Customers, partners and other stakeholders can report concerns about product information, documentation, website claims, privacy or business conduct through info@jafita.cn. Include the page, project or record involved and enough evidence for the issue to be identified.

Safety-critical equipment concerns should also be sent immediately to the responsible local maintenance organization. For dedicated support routing, use:

Questions and the supporting record · Company archive

Does JAFITA publish an ESG report?

No current verified ESG report is referenced on this page. We publish supported policies and records and will add measured disclosures when their scope and methodology can be stated clearly.

Are all JAFITA products covered by ISO 9001 and ISO 45001?

No such blanket claim is made. The cited certificates cover defined installation and maintenance activities of Beijing Jieteda Elevator Co., Ltd. Product evidence must be matched separately.

Which current management-system certificates are presented on this website?

This website currently presents the verified ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certificates described above, with their legal entity, scope and dates. Any additional certificate will be published only after its current primary record has been verified.

How does JAFITA evaluate project references?

The strongest public cases identify the site, time, equipment or service, JAFITA’s actual role and supporting records. A building photograph alone is not enough.

Where should an urgent safety problem be reported?

Follow local emergency procedures and contact the responsible local authorized elevator service organization first. Then provide JAFITA with the project and equipment identity for supplier-side review where relevant.

Accountability Begins with a Specific Question

If you need the evidence behind a product, certificate, project or cooperation claim, ask us for the exact record relevant to your enquiry. We will explain what it supports and where further confirmation is required.
