Company and Business Model
What is JAFITA?
JAFITA is a Beijing-based elevator business with a documented foundation in freight-elevator production, OEM cooperation and international supply. The company combines that manufacturing experience with specialist industry and factory resources for a wider portfolio of elevators, escalators, moving walks and components.
Beijing Jieteda Elevator Co., Ltd. was established in Beijing in 2001. Company materials describe export activity beginning in 2008. These dates refer to the company’s development, not to the launch date of every product displayed today.
JAFITA’s documented manufacturing foundation is in freight elevators and OEM production. Its wider portfolio also uses cooperation with specialist factories and industry resources. The correct answer therefore depends on the product: JAFITA may act through its manufacturing background, coordinate a specialist equipment source or supply matched components. The product origin, configuration and responsibility should remain clear in the proposal.
JAFITA is based in Beijing, China. The company also maintains a Beijing showroom. Visitors should arrange an appointment before travelling so that the relevant team, displays and documents can be prepared.
What is the difference between jafita.com and jafitalift.com?
jafita.com is the official corporate website. It presents company identity, history, capabilities, qualifications, projects, partnerships, official resources and news.
jafitalift.com is the buyer-focused marketing and knowledge website. It provides product selection information, solution pages, practical checklists, technical articles and enquiry routes.
The two sites share verified company and product facts where necessary, but they do not duplicate the same reader task. For example, the official site explains JAFITA’s quality-management capability, while JAFITALIFT helps a buyer compare elevator quotations.

Products and Selection
Display forms are a starting point for selection · Beijing showroom
What products can JAFITA discuss?
The current portfolio includes passenger, home, panoramic, freight, medical and service elevators; escalators and moving walks; and a range of elevator and escalator components. Availability, technical range, manufacturing source and documents are confirmed for the actual product and destination market.
Company source material identifies freight-elevator production and related OEM work as a core strength. That background is relevant to structural requirements, goods movement, door arrangements, component coordination and production control. A freight-elevator proposal still requires the actual load, car, door, loading and duty information.
Begin with what must move, how often, between which levels and inside what building constraints. Passenger count, goods dimensions, beds, carts, vehicles and accessibility needs lead to different product categories. Then add load, speed, travel, stops, entrances, shaft, pit, overhead, power and destination-market requirements.
Product names are the starting point. Final selection follows the application and building data.
Can JAFITA recommend a product before drawings are available?
An early discussion can begin from the building type, number of floors, intended use, approximate capacity and available space. JAFITA can identify a likely direction and the missing data. Final dimensions and interfaces require verified project information.
Can JAFITA customize an elevator?
Customization may include dimensions, entrances, cabin appearance, finishes, controls, branding or another defined feature, depending on product feasibility and market requirements. A request is reviewed against structural, mechanical, electrical, safety, document and supply implications before it is approved.
Does a catalogue specification apply to every project?
No. A catalogue describes a product direction or range. The final configuration may change with rated load, speed, shaft, door arrangement, travel, market and optional features. The approved quotation and project documents define the actual supply.

Quotations and Technical Information
Drawings and technical context · Company archive
What information is needed for an initial elevator quotation?
Provide the project country, building type, product category, quantity, rated load, speed, floors or stops, approximate travel, entrances and available shaft information. For freight projects, add the maximum goods dimensions, loading device and expected operating cycle. For escalators, include vertical rise, inclination, width and indoor or outdoor conditions.
Can I request a quotation with incomplete information?
Yes. Clearly label what is confirmed and what is estimated. JAFITA can identify the information still needed before a final technical and commercial offer. An early budget indication should not be treated as a frozen specification.
How should I compare two elevator quotations?
Compare the application, technical configuration, included equipment, documents, local work, installation responsibilities, warranty, delivery terms and exclusions. Do not compare total price until unknown or unequal items have been made visible.

Which drawings can JAFITA provide?
Depending on project stage and product, information may include preliminary layouts, general arrangement drawings and relevant interface data. Final or approved documents require enough confirmed information to match the selected equipment. Drawing titles and revisions should remain connected to the project.
How are technical changes controlled?
A material change should identify what changed, why it changed, which drawings, components, price or schedule are affected, who approved it and which revision is current. Verbal agreement alone is not sufficient when production or site interfaces are affected.

Standards, Qualifications and Evidence
What company certifications does JAFITA hold?
Current English records include ISO 9001:2015 quality-management and ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety-management certificates issued to Beijing Jieteda Elevator Co., Ltd. for elevator installation and maintenance within the scope stated on each certificate. Both show issue date 17 February 2025 and expiry date 16 February 2028, subject to the issuer’s stated surveillance and verification conditions.
Does ISO certification mean every JAFITA product is certified?
No. These ISO certificates concern management systems and defined company activities. Product conformity and destination-market approval must be checked for the selected elevator, component and jurisdiction.

Which elevator standard applies to my project?
That depends on the destination country, equipment category, building and procurement specification. State the project country and required code at the beginning of the enquiry. JAFITA will confirm which available product and documents can be proposed; the project must also identify the parties responsible for local design approval, installation, inspection and acceptance.
Can JAFITA provide certificates and qualification documents for a tender?
Yes, where the requested documents are applicable and available. Send the tender checklist, legal-entity requirement, product category and project country. This allows JAFITA to separate company qualifications from product-specific evidence.
How should I evaluate a JAFITA project reference?
Look for the building, application, equipment category and JAFITA’s documented role. A name or photograph confirms only the level of evidence shown. Quantity, model, year and supply scope require a project record and, where applicable, customer permission.

What is JAFITA’s minimum order quantity?
There is no single minimum for every product. Complete equipment, custom finishes, branded OEM programs and individual components have different manufacturing and commercial conditions. Single-unit and batch enquiries can both be reviewed.
How long does production take?
Lead time depends on product, quantity, customization, approval status, documents and production route. A confirmed schedule is provided after the technical and commercial scope is sufficiently defined. Public estimates should not replace the schedule in the accepted order.
Which delivery terms are available?
Incoterms, shipping route, packaging, export documents and destination responsibilities are confirmed in the commercial proposal. The buyer should also identify import, customs, inland transport, unloading and storage responsibilities.
Delivery paperwork and package checking · Illustrative context
How should an elevator shipment be checked on arrival?
Keep packages grouped and identifiable, compare them with the packing list, inspect visible condition and record shortages, damage or mismatches before installation. Photographs should show the package mark and issue together.
The warranty period, covered items, exclusions, start date and claim process are stated in the quotation or contract. They can vary by product and project. Installation, storage, maintenance, unauthorized changes and local conditions may affect coverage according to the agreed terms.
06 / Equipment identity and local responsibility
Installation, Maintenance and After-Sales Support
Does JAFITA install elevators outside China?
Installation responsibility is agreed per project and must comply with local law. Depending on scope, JAFITA support may include drawings, manuals, remote technical communication, video support or agreed on-site assistance. A qualified local organization is often required for installation, inspection and maintenance.

Does remote guidance replace a qualified installer?
No. Remote communication can clarify product and document questions. It does not replace competent site supervision, safe work procedures, required licenses or local inspection.
How do I request after-sales support?
Provide the project or order reference, equipment identity, location, operating status, fault description, alarm information, clear photographs or video, previous work and the assistance requested. Keep people away from unsafe equipment and follow local emergency procedures where relevant.
Connections and identity matter · Component reference
Can JAFITA supply replacement parts?
JAFITA can review component enquiries for complete projects, maintenance and modernization. Supply depends on accurate identification and availability. Send manufacturer, model, original part number, nameplate, electrical rating, connectors, dimensions, quantity and clear photographs.
Is a visually similar component compatible?
Not necessarily. Voltage, communication, feedback devices, connectors, mounting, software, safety function and certification may differ. Compatibility should be reviewed before order and installation.
International movement of goods · Illustrative context
Does JAFITA work with overseas customers?
Yes. Company materials document export activity since 2008. International work can involve technical communication, product coordination, documents, packaging and delivery. The exact product, standard and support route remain project-specific.
JAFITA reviews the proposed territory, customer base, elevator experience, technical team, local installation and service route, target products and first opportunity. Appointment, territory and exclusivity require a written agreement.
OEM and private-label programs can be discussed for suitable products. The program must define configuration, branding, documents, inspection, packaging, destination requirements and change control.
Yes. Submit the legal company identity, actual manufacturing source, relevant product models, technical documents, certificates and strongest evidence. Submission does not create approved status or a purchase commitment.
